What "as seen on TV" miracle item actually worked as advertised?

I can more or less tell you what DIDN"T work..so far nothing has really lived up to my expectations like they seem to do 'as seen on tv'

I am not SURE I have the name of the product right but it's called a GRABBER I THINK! It's a long sort of like an arm with grabbers on the end to reach high shelf items. It is GREAT for shorties like me and for older folks, too I bet. ALSO, Doggie Steps are amazing, too. I know they are still available on eBay and in stores, too. If you have an older pet (cat/dog, etc.), they are very helpful. I have a senior cat and a handicapped one. Now they can get into the taller beds and the couch with ease.

I got suckered into a couple of those items. Remember the Owl? Little magnifying credit card size thing you could use to read with, even had a little light. JOKE! I tried really hard to think of one that did work, even called a friend, and she can't think of any either. I have been told the people that show you how "easy" the item is to use, are all given classes on how to make it work. The wonders of T.V. I can't think of any, good luck.

I LOVE THE BULLET. HOWEVER, IT DOES NOT WORK QUITE AS WELL AS ADVERTISED. IT DOES NOT TAKE 1 2 3 PUSHES AND YOUR DONE. MORE LIKE 1 MIN. DO NOT BUY THE CAN OPENER THAT IS MAGNETIC, SUPPOSED TO OPEN CANS WITHOUT LEAVING A SHARP EDGE. HA! YOU'D HAVE BETTER LUCK USING A ROCK TO OPEN A CAN.

about 10 years ago I bought Jack La Lannes juicer and I have to say it worked really great until my cat knocked it off the counter top and bent the filter- never could get another filter anywhere.
