How can I remove glued down hardwood from cement?

Only way to remove the wood from cement is by mechanical means with minimum amount of alteration to the wood. Any chemical or heat process will surely damage the wood. The only method that I can think of is use a thin circular saw blade to cut through the glue that is between the cement and the wood. What I would do is buy a 26 gauge stainless steel sheet and cut it in about 18" circle. Drill a center hole to attach it to a drill mandrel. Using a nibbler or grinding wheel, cut a saw tooth all around the outside periphery of the steel circle. Attach the madrel to the drill and carefully place the circular saw blade between the wood and cement at a lowest angle you can (as horizontal as possible). 26 gauge stainless steel is thin enough that it will remove most of the glue and very little of the wood.

Scrape it up, elbow grease if it's glued. solvents are pricy and stinky and u still have to scrape
