What do you think of black women who date white men or vise versa?

people date people, and race or colour or any other bigotted crap needs to get in the way!!!

I am married to a black women and I am white. We get a few stares but my family loves her and her family loves me. I have hung out with her brothers for years though which makes it easier and I am from a black area of town as well so I have always dated black women and alot of her family knows this and my family is used to it, but on the negative side. She gets called a sellout by other black people sometimes and alot of black dudes think she is wrong, but honestly she gets it worse than me because everyone I know just take it for granted that I like black women. You have to have a thick skin and not let stairs and comments get to you and don't have to bad a temper because I used to fight people about it but now I don't even notice them and she ignores it as well.

I think that how people feel about and treat each other are much more important the skin color. Skin color isn't even necessarily a reflection of culture anymore since so many people are of mixed ancestry.

Some more shallow people may judge or say bad things about interracial couples, but that is a reflection of their own ignorance and not the couple.

Well I'm black and my bf is white so I have nothing but the utmost respect and love for us. The conflicts in dating is when we go out and black men and women, wanna call me a sell out or a whore, some white women try to step to him in front of me and black men do the same to me in front of him. We just ignore that ignorance and negativity. Once a me and my bf went to a club and was at the bar having a drink and this white women try to insert herself in between us and flirt with my bf and he quickly put her in her place and told her not to disrespect me, that I was his lady and he took my hand, gave me kiss and led me away from the situation.

There is always something in any relationship that can come up, just be true to yourself and hope for the best. When I lived in L.A. I dated a extremely attractive black lady and there was problems from her family that ended up keeping us apart. My only issue with that is she let her brothers talk her out of being with someone she still to this day she she wanted to be with. She is married now and we are friends, so it is all good now.

The complications will be according to how we already think society will treat us. If you are worried about it, it must be because you have already heard people disagree with it. If two people are attracted to each other, then color shouldn't matter. Times have changed and it isn't uncommon to see mixed couples anymore but there are still some who will stare and snear. Pay them no mind.

I think love and happiness are hard enough to find without trying to place racial and social barriers on who you look for. Not everyone thinks or believes as I do, and there is where the problems can come in.

um i totally support interracial relationship in general because im black and i only date outside my race so ive dated white guys. its kind of the same..sometimes you have different cultures depending on the people but opposites attract : )

If two people love each other, who cares about the colour of their skin, or their cultural background. It is what's in their hearts that count.

I think they are les racially biased than someone who would ask such a question
