How can I replace the headlamp in a Smart Car Passion 2002?

I can't find the manual anywhere, and don't even know how to get to the unit!

Update:

It's a Company vehicle, but I'll do my best....

MCC Smart City Passion 2002 (as stated before), and I thought they were all 600cc anyway.

Thanks

It does not matter what year or engine size

1 unclip the grille and unscrew the aerial

2 Undo the nylon screw on the plastic triangle with "Passion" badge on it and remove the triangle

3 unscrew the TWO screws in the middle of the bracket behind the grill

4 uncsrew 4 screws in each door shut and 1 where you took off that triangle thing

5 Now you have to carefully remove the front plastic panels of the car. There is two clippped parts under the front of the car once released give it a pull. Then with the doors closed pull the sides out a bit and then pull them away from just in front of the screen. Don't go mad because you have to reach in and disconnect the foglights and indicators and if you go mad you will break the fog light

Now you can see how to get the headlight out it's straight forward from here.

Before you put the front back on. Remove the side indicators and as you refit the front poke the wires through the hole, it will make it easier than fumbling to connect them.

It's all a bit of jiggling around but not hard once youv'e done it

Source(s): I repair these things for a living and they are quite straight forward really
