Could someone please explain carb ?
What does it do? Is it bad or good? How can I know if the something has to much carb? I'm really confused.
Cause I heard that it fattens, but basically everything has carb in it. If I stopped eating things with carb, then I don't think I'll eat much

There are 3 categories of foods
Proteins (meat, poultry, fish etc) , Fats (butter, cheese, cream, oils etc) and carbohydrates (grains, pasta, breads, cereals, veggies, fruits, sugar, honey etc)
Carbs are what give you energy and if you cut them out you will have severe fatigue.
Carbs used to have fiber (like beans and grains ) but modern fast foods have over-processed many foods and they now have the nutritional value of kleenex.
Good carbs are the original, minimally processed ones and
Bad carbs are the over-processed (stuff made with bleached white flour and white sugar and corn syrup)
Eat a good combination of grilled proteins, good carbs and olive oil for your main fat. Then, if you eat junk food once in awhile, you will at least survive better.

Carbohydates are basically a sugar...an energy food. You have carbs in pasta, bread, beans, ect. Now carbs are stored in you liver. If you eat more carbs after your liver is full of them, then it is converted to fat by the body, in case your body needs the extra energy. When you're trying to lose weight, then you want to reduce the amount of carbs in your diet. To really lose weight, you'd really need to have a good workout first, then have a good brisk walk or jog on a treadmill for about 30 minutes. Your body will use up all the carbs that are stored in the liver, then it'll start burning fat. You combine this with a sensible diet.....and you'll lose weight. To keep the weight off, you'll need a lifestyle change....regular excercise and watching what you eat from now on. I hope I've helped you understand this. Best of luck to you.
