I hate to say it, but you have little to no chance of doing anything in Juliard. Mostly because the saxophone is not a readily used classical instrument so Juliard pretty much ignores it. They do have a jazz studies program. THe big problem is that they only let in about 100 students each year, and there are THOUSANDS of applicants. You have to be the absolute cream of the crop to get in, and even then it is tough. If you really want to know what it takes, talk to one of the two saxophone professors. They are:

    Goines, Victor L.

    Temperley, Joe

Though the website doesn't provide their emails, I'm sure you can call them or call the department and get their email to talk to them. They are the ones that say you get in anyway, so they are the best source for information on what they are looking for.

What you have to do is keep practicing your insturment and maybe even get a private teacher that can help you to keep improving. Remember if you love music you will love to practice it everyday. The best way to get in is when you feel you are ready to, you need to email julliard or get your parents to call them and recomend you. And at least let them know you are intrested ahead of time. Once you audition they will then decide if they want you. Make sure you get good grades too because it will better your chances of getting in. Trust me if you work hard i am sure you will get in.

Like any school grades will play a part into it. Julliard will also conduct a personal interview with you and you have to audition.

Not an easy task to take on but I wish you the best of luck with it.
