Which is better, PC or Mac?
I use computers for surfing the internet, homework, video editing (capturing off TV), and downloading music. Which would be better for me?

I used to own only PC's and knew nothing about Mac's... a month and a half ago I bought a Mac and I honestly wonder (just about every day) why anyone would ever buy a PC?
I love this machine so much. It is way more organised, and so much better for music, editing (I am a photographer) and even Internet. Go to a Mac store and you will be sold!
That is my 2 cents.

Good question neither. it really depends on the given task. The only thing that makes macs stand out is that you can get some good programs that will only run on macs such as final cut pro. Many people claim that macs are better than PCs which simply is not the case.

Well, depends on what you are using
If you want to have a easy to use computer,
Your option is Mac or Windows Vista.
If you want a ton of features besides the very basics, get Windows XP or Windows Vista.
Heres my description of Vista: A perfected version of WIndows XP.
Easier to use, more stable, more secure, and looks better and faster.

Why don't you try Mac, and then judge .
For me , I didn't use Mac, but I saw it working, and I heard a lot about the operating system Mac OS X, and it seems great, and it has great programs pre-installed, beside it's very secure comparing to Windows, that you don't even need an anti-virus !

Mac is better in graphics, it's like a manual car, and the PC is an automatic car, you can choose in Mac in which program or application you the ram to "focus"

Mac, unless you want to game allot. This is a big debate thing but I'm just giving my opinion.

prolly a mac, i have a PC, and use it for the same stuff and its just not as good as a mac, macs are just designed for that kind of stuff, as for PC, i don't even know what they are designed for except being a real pain.
