Ranger Michael or
Easton Michael
Easton and Ranger both come from hockey. easton hockey(and baseball) and the new york rangers.
Easton means outdoorsy(we are always outdoors)and its a hockey brand, and we're both avid hockey players and fans and ranger means vigilant in french(my husbands family is french) so the names do mean something to us.

I love them both, unique without being odd. We considered Easton and Weston for our son but settled on Landon but almost didn't because his middle name is Michael like his Dad and Grandpa. We worried that he would get ridiculed by being called "Michael Landon" and he probably will but kids will find something to pick on each other about no matter what name you choose - if not the name, then the hair color or their size. If something is special and meaningful to you then pick it, no matter what other people say or if "half the country has that name".

How about Easton Ranger Michael? My daughter has four names. This way you could use them both.

Easton is really great! I'm a preschool teacher and I have heard a lot of kids names and some of them-the unique ones- are really weird but I love Easton!

I thought Easton sounded good, but I'm not so sure after hearing where you got it from. Maybe if the hockey brand is not well known in your area. If it is well known, I'd be worried that it would sound silly for a kid to also have that name.
I vote definitely not for Ranger. I'm not trying to be rude - just blunt - but, to me, it sounds ignorant.

Think about his future.......Ranger might cause some teasing. Easton sounds good and very mature.
