I'm having a sweet 16 at a water park and I want to have a buffet with finger foods. What are some good foods?

I want a wide variety of foods, but mini foods so everyone can try a lot of different things. Any ideas beside pizza, hot dogs, and burgers? Nothing fancy, just those are overused.

You can get these, like, tiny little pieces of toast and put cheese and tomato on them (very fancy but inexpensive). I've seen them at weddings, but people buy them to dip in soup.

    Sausage rolls

    Party pies

    Peanuts

    Honey soy chicken wings

Chicken kebabs - honey soy / tandoori / bbq / mustard etc

    Pluto pups

    Mini quiches

    Fairy bread

or perhaps a buffet of different types of chinese food?

Honey chicken, mongolian lamb / beef, fried rice, beef and black bean, prawn chips, mini spring rolls with sweet and sour sauce.

or how about a barbeque or carvery? Depending on the water parks facilities.

It's just not a party without fairy bread though, just remember that!

In our experience being already 16 we think that you should have a seafood theme as you are in a water parek. Although obviously you will have to have a vegetarian option/options for people that don't like seafood or can't eat it. Any more problems e-mail us and Michael will answer because he is a party entrepeneur. If you need us to liven up your party we'll take time out of our busy schedule for your party. • Go w/ a tropical theme and serve chicken skewers marinated in sesame ginger dressing, Cuban sandwiches, fruit kabobs, "Strawberry Daquiris" or "Pina Coladas", Seafood salad, black bean dip salsa and tortilla chips andPina Colada cake

    Cuban sandwiches

    1 loaf Cuban bread*

    Prepared yellow mustard

1/2 pound baked ham, thinly sliced

1/2 pound roast pork, thinly sliced

    8 thin dill pickle slices

1/2 pound Swiss cheese, thinly sliced

    * Italian or French bread may be substituted.

Slice the bread horizontally to open. Spread a thin layer of mustard on top and bottom halves of bread. Arrange ham, pork, pickle slices, and Swiss cheese evenly over the bread. Cover the sandwiches with the top halves of the bread. Cut into 4 sandwiches.

Sandwich Press: Grill sandwiches in a hot buttered sandwich press until flat, bread is browned, and cheese has melted. Remove from heat; cut each sandwich in half and serve immediately.

Griddle: Place sandwich on a hot griddle, and position a heavy iron skillet or bacon press on top of the sandwich. Flatten the sandwich to about 1/4 of it original size. Grill the sandwich for 2 to 3 minutes on each side.

George Forman Grill: May also be used.

    Makes 4 servings.

Um I always like the tortilla roll up sandwich things, with lunch meat, lettuce, mayo, mustard tomato, onion...or anything else you like in your sandwiches, its not a messy snack and its a little differ ant than the norm. you can also buy the party trays at walmart super stores or maybe even your local grocery store...good luck and have fun!

you can get frozen taquitos and heat them in an electric frying pan or on an electric griddle, you can wrap sausages in a strip of biscuit dough and bake. all sorts of chips and dips, stack sandwiches, do a slice of bread, a slice of turkey, a slice of bread and a slice of ham, slice of bread and slice of roast beef, then top with bread, you can put a little mayo and mustard between the layers, and even a bit of shreded lettuce. cookies, bagles with smoked salmon mixed into cream cheese spred on them.
