is it true that a stop sigh means stop not slow down for 1/8 of a second?

o no that would be awful if it ment stop

ha ha ha jk i know it means stop for 1/6 of a second instead of slow down for 1/8 of a second

yeah i live in vancouver wa and drive a black 2004 honda (with a engine i upgraded to 400 hp) it was so slow before i put in the new 1 it could only go about 80 now it can go past 120 easy

and im on the road from 6am-7am, 5pm-6pm get to work and race at about 11pm-1am occasonally

man having a honda as a cover sure does make the bets go up only to get there 90 grand car smoked by a honda

    it means look both ways if nothing is coming continue on unless of course the police was behind you in that cause you would make a complete stop

    I'm not sure where you get your times from. I was told by a cop that they look for the front end to rise. In other words, when you are stopping the front end dips. Once stopped fully, the front end should pop back up. If that doesn't happen, then they say you didn't stop completely.

    there are names for these "rolling stops" they are commonly refered to as "farmer stops" "motocycle stops" "cars that break down stops". To me, they are qualified stops. I mean if someone is going pepindicular to you first of course you would completely stop, but in any other case why the heck should ya?
