just kidding, but yes. This is called point gaming, and you should report those people to Yahoo!

Presumably. It's very annoying, and gets in the way of all the proper answers too.

I don't know why people bother answering really, the points don't mean a lot if you are hopeless at answering questions, the only points I am impressed with getting are when I get a Best Answer and I know I have done a good job with that question.

I dunno...hehehe well it is an answer tho not a very good one..there are some questions in life that no one can really answer but it does not annoy me just makes me think as you have they are just in it for the points...

That is what it's all about, isn't it? People will answer anything here just for points and a lot of times i'ts things like "I dunno". You just have to deal with it. Me? I answer a question if I really know the answer or if I really have an opinion.

Of course! When someone posts a question, they are looking for an answer from someone who knows. Most of us already know that a lot a people don't know the answer.

Oh yes, definitely. I've gotten answers that were just this: "....." Dots in a row! I wanted to scream. Those answers should not be allowed to even come through.

What do you think? Practically every one of us wants to earn more points to gain extra level.

perhaps, or maybe they truly don't know. if i go to the trouble of going into a question i'm going to leave some type of answer, even if it's sorry dude i have no idea, good luck! it's definetely not for the points, what can we do with those anyway?

Yes, to earn points. It isn't even an answer and drives me mad when I see it, also "lmao", "lol" and "omg", are up there in my top 10 hates
