Have you had an Endometrial Ablation in the past 12 months? How was the experience? Have the results lasted?

Thanks for any info!

I had this done almost 2 years ago after my 3rd child. It is the greatest thing I ever did. The only pain was for a few hours afterward. it kind of feels like contraction pain, but they give you pain pills. After the 1st day, I never had pain again. The best part is that I haven't had a monthly period since that day. I would recommend it to anyone.

I had one a couple of years ago. I ended up having a hysterectomy 6 months later. NOT because of the ablation or anything related to it. During that 6 months after having it I didn't have a period, no cramps etc. It was great but other things (again NOT related to the ablation) ended up happening and I had to have a hysterectomy. I was a little crampy after the ablation but that is it. I in general felt great after.

    Good luck
