Could be a vacuum leak at the power brake booster, try plugging the vacuum line going into the booster( behind the master cylinder on the firewall) and see it the engine runs better. You will little braking power with this vacuum line plugged

Could also check for other vacuum leaks or stuck EGR valve.

good day! Im an ASE qualified Technician.Thumper is thoroughly incorrect. The impartial protection change basically stops the engine from cranking over, not beginning. Terry D is on the superb music. I agree, it fairly is basically coincidental that the gasoline pump stop on the comparable time you stalled it. think of roughly it, in case you grant it with an option gasoline source and it fires up then it isnt getting the gasoline it needs to run from the gasoline pump. Many gasoline supplies will artwork, alongside with stable previous brake air purifier. in case you may feed it gasoline your self and it runs then you definately've quite plenty narrowed all of it the way down to a gasoline undertaking. It isnt unavoidably the pump, it fairly is a gasoline pump relay not feeding the pump voltage or possibly a clogged clear out not letting gasoline get to the injectors. My suggestion: Take it to an outstanding interior of reach keep for appropriate analysis in case you cant do it on your guy or woman. The broking is purely as stable yet will cost you plenty extra for the comparable answer/fix. i'm hoping this helps :)

UGH! All of the answers you got are just guesses.

We need more information to go on about the truck. Tell us the mileage. How well has it been maintained. What part of the country it's been driven in. Do you do mostly short distance driving or do you do lots of highway cruising? How often do you add fuel injector/carburetor cleaner to the gas tank?

Do you change the oil ever 3,000 to 5,000 miles? Do you change the engine air filter regularly? What about the spark plugs, how many miles are on them already? Is the check engine light on?

All in all from the sounds of things. Your truck could have been neglected and now it's telling you something. A full intensive tune up could be in order.
