Will all of you, pray for the suffering children in Iraq and pray for Peace all over the world, Pray now ?

Sure, I will even pray out loud- Seriously-

Lord, we just lift up all the children in Iraq and Cambodia and Russia and Romania and all the other places where these children are suffering, and we ask that you would keep them safe, and place your hedge of protection over them- please keep them from evil and draw them to you. We also pray that you will protect our soliders who are over there in Iraq and that your hand would move across that place and this country and bring peace to those who are truly seeking it- and continue to draw many to you and please help us who love you to be a light to others and please give us wisdom in what to say to others. We thank you for your love and grace and mercy- We give you all the glory Lord, in your precious name we pray, AMEN!

I pray for all the suffering children not just in iraq

Instead of praying for the children in Iraq, why don't you tell your government to stop killing them? I guarantee that my method is (slightly) more effective.

And isn't it blasphemous to suggest that God doesn't already know that you don't want people to suffer? And isn't it blasphemous to suggest that God didn't know when he planned the invasion of Iraq that it would cause suffering? If you believe that God has a plan for everyone, and that he is omniscient, then there is absolutely no logical reason for praying for anything.

I am sorry to disrespect you lady but praying really wont do anything. GOd gave us the tools to change the world Ourselves and we really cant ask of him anymore tan we can do ourselves. If you want to make a real difference, then find a way to, whether by joining the military(but don't expect to be doing to much helping, seriously dont it's not worth it) or donating money. I'm sorry but god's one miracle was the creation of life and life many miracles are the creation of everything else.

So.....you ask freely of a ton of strangers world wide to pray for someone? Don't they call this being intercessors/intermediaries? I thought all one had to do was "go directly to God"? That being said, have you asked any of the dead who are actually alive in Christ (more so than we who are on the earth) to pray as well? They are capable you know.....it's why we Catholics ask the saints and the Virgin Mary to JOIN US in prayer as well (not pray TO them). The prayer of the righteous is more powerful than ours....we who are still capable of sin.

In the long-term that could prolong the suffering by alleviating the guilt that should by rights be building up into something approaching a high enough level to end the US occupation through politics.

How about the suffering children of Iran? Or Cuba? Canada?

Why don't you pray for all children? I bet you that in the future children will still suffer, Why , because prayer is as useful as herpes. "Two hands working can do more than a thousand hands grasped in prayer".

the $2.4 million Benson prayer study just concluded that...

"59% of patients who knew that they were being prayed for suffered complications, compared with 51% of those who were uncertain whether they were being prayed for or not; and 18% in the uninformed prayer group suffered major complications such as heart attack or stroke, compared with 13% in the group that received no prayers."

so you might want to consider that prayer may work to the detriment of those being prayed for.
