use www.ebizwebpages.com i use it for my company and suggest it to my customers. oh and hey if you do ..in the referral field on sign up put in www.datazingtech.com to throw me a bone :) but ya its great, easy to use, design and update, and very self explainatory. The features it offers are FAR superior to their competition with regards to options, designing, and maintenance and even a 800 number to call and get a REAL HUMAN on the phone if you need help. These guys really are great and if you need help they are great!!

You will need to do 2 things:

    1) get a domain name from www.networksolutions.com (you will need this no matter who you have hosting your site) There are companies that lease domain names for as little as $8.00/yr but ive used them before and they suck.. network solutions is the big fish in the sea for domain names.

2)Hosting of your site: go to www.ebizwebpages.com and start a free trial... have fun designing your site then once you are satisfied simply activate it. It's $20/mo to keep your site up including email addresses designing and webtools!! Super cheap and OUTSTANDING product!!

OK. If you want to do this all yourself then there are 3 basic things you need to do.

    1. Register a domain name. You can do that at Godaddy.com

    2. Get a webhost.. This will be the server that hosts your website. You can transfer the name you get at Godaddy to any webhost.

    3. Build a website. This is a huge topic in itself. I suggest you take a look at my two websites listed below which should give you a lot more detail and information.

You will need a program to create HTML files, a program to transfer the files to a server (FTP program), and a web host (some computer to store the files that will be seen on the net).
