We have a Honda accord w reg automatic we want to sell, my partner bought it 2nd hand. It just says accord on its boot and the paperwork says vtec 2.0. How do we tell if its a SE, SE executive, SE executive sport etc???? Any ideas?

You need to find the VIN (vehicle identification number) otherwise known as the chassis number. It will probably be just by the bottom of the driver's side door but it could be anywhere on the car though including on the dashboard near where the tax disc is or in the engine compartment!
It is a long number (well it will have letters in it too) and will be printed on a plastic or metal strip. Armed with this, a Honda main dealer should be able to look up the computer and tell you the exact model. In fact if you take it to a friendly dealer, they will probably even help you to locate the VIN. Its location may also be in the owner's manual.
Failing that, you could go on eBay and buy an old Honda brochure printed when you rcar was new (there are a few people who deal in such things). You could then compare the spec. of your vehicle with the brochure and probably work it out....

There's an easier way to tell. If it doesn't have power locks, windows and mirrors, and has hubcaps instead of alloy wheels, it is an SE Edition (LX in the US). If it has power locks, windows and mirrors, 15" alloy wheels and is a 4 cylinder automatic 2.0 Liter V-Tec transmission, it is an SE Executive (EX in the US). If it has a moon roof as well as all power auxiliary, leather seats, 16" alloy wheels, a premium radio and is a 6 cylinder automatic 3.0 Liter V-Tec transmission, it is the SE Executive Sport edition (EX-L). If it has all the features of the EX-L model but also has a navigation system, it is called a EX-L Nav in the US.
