How can i tell if my video card is fried?

during a move of my computer the video card became dislodged and upon reboot there was no signal recieved to my monitor. the video card fan turns on and so does the rest of the computer but there is just no signal reaching the monitor. the monitor was tested on a diff computer and works fine. i cant test the vid card on the other comp. because it will not accept this type of card(xfx 6600gt)what do i do???????

    Did it make sparks when using the computer. Does the video card cut out on you on your screen. Not clear pictures when using it or it just doesn't work. Because then it means its fried.

    Somtimes but rare they will make a wierd noise and it means there fried.

    Also make sure there is nothing metal thats not spost to be in there touching the video card.

    Turn your monitor on plug it into video card if the monitor say it has no signal, Your card is indeed fried.

    Video cards don't become dislodged, because you skrew them into place. If you neglected to do this, then you deserve a dead video card.
