When should an ice cream fork be used?

You can use an ice-cream fork for like an ice-cream cake, or a brownie sundae-something of that sort.

Interesting thing, ice cream forks. However, I suspect that if you are using a fork as opposed to a spoon, you might be indulging in a little something extra such as pie or cake with that ice cream...or perhaps a bit of fried ice cream as well.

I've never heard of an ice cream fork. I assume, according to the title, that you should only use it for ice cream. But I always use utensils for other things than they're intended for...like an ice cream scooper as a serving spoon for mashed potatoes. Lol.
