I won a trip to the Budweiser Shootout last year. The contest was sponsered by Budweiser. Anyone get a 1099?

The prize came through from Young America. No one at Budweiser can tell me anything. They refer me to Young America and Young America says they don't handle that. If anyone else won this trip - I just wondered if you have a phone number that I can call to find out about a 1099, so I can pay my taxes.

You should have received a 1099 form from the sponsor of the contest. The form will tell the IRS what the winning package is worth and you will have to pay taxes as income. If you know the value of the winning package then just declare it on your taxes as income. If not sure call the IRS and ask for help.

try going to irs.gov, there is probably a way to print the blank form and fill it out yourself. if that doesn't work, you may have to go through a tax preperation service such as jackson-hewitt
