What kind of computer do you have? It sounds like you just need a new driver. If you can give me the speaker and computer model, I might be a able to find something. Please edit it into your question.

Every answer here is telling you what you should have known before wasting money on Vista. It has been pretty clear in the press and literature that if you want to be the first with vista, you better just buy a new computer to support it (and) and they are not even available yet. You can get a patch together one that will run the interim vista, but a full copy of vista will cost you a new PC at about $1,900. Vista is going to force us to buy new PCs as it will not run on the old ones. The reason they did this is we quit trying to be the first to buy everything they sent out callin it "new" and improved. No more rampant purchasing. No more trying to be the "first to ow". They will sock it to you. Nothing on our current computer is compatable with vista as they intend to force us to buy every single program again.

i'm waiting for awhile until eventually the various bugs are worked out and there are greater gadget drivers available. As of now I have not have been given any concept as quickly as I plan to enhance...my XP runs stable as a rock. If I have been to purchase a sparkling laptop i'm specific it would come on it, yet I generally build and improve my own, so I is easily not compelled earlier i'm waiting. possibly after Microsoft releases SP1!!

Vista does not have complete driver support yet, wait a few months for the updates.

Ok the first thing I would suggest is to go to the website of your audio card and download the latest drivers and re-install them.

you need to go to the manufacturers website and see if they have a vista driver for your sound card if not you may be able to force the xp driver but it still may not work
