Friends after a break-up???

Of course it is not wrong to want his friendship but if you had trust issues with him as a boyfriend, I think you should be wary of a friendship with a person you cannot trust. It could carry over into other areas. Try to ease him out by making new acquaintances until you find "Mr. Right".

No...its not wrong. Just because you two werent compatible doesnt mean that you two can't be good as friends. Friendship, though, is just that; friendship. If the feelings are still there, then friendship is going to be hard to do... but if you just want to his friend, honestly...then you should go for it,

it all depends on the break up.. if it was hard and tears were shed n it was nasty and disgusting chances are even if u try in the long run all that will happen is everytime u look at them it reminds u of the break up and bring back the pain... chances are slowly u will fade into strangers trust me... but if it isnt a nasty one then there is no reason why u couldnt be...

You have to ask him if it's okay. Most guys like to move on after a break up unless there's some "unfinished business"...and I think you know what I mean.
