Recommend nice restaurant in South East London please?

Anywhere in South East London? There is a lovely Mexican in Blackheath Village - cannot remember what it's called but if you do an internet search (possibly www.yell.co.uk - Yellow Pages) it will show it.

Kennington is fine for staying but not exactly a destination to travel to unless you live there. It's near Clapham which has good restaurants and bars. The best thing about Kennington is that it has a tube station which makes it much more desirable. The people are ethnically mixed with a substantial Portugese community and black community. It can be a bit dodgy at night but as long as you use common sense and don't wander around dark alleys on your own (good advice for everyone really). Take mini cabs or travel on the night bus with a friend and you'll be fine. There is a good music bar at Stockwell called the Swan which has live cover bands. You're also near to Brixton which has a good market and vibrant afro/caribbean community. Kennington park is nice during the day with nice flowers. There is a decent pub called the Grehound round by Oval.

Try Ev next to Southwark tube station. It's turkish and the food is fab - does lush cocktails too, and is about £20 a head for three courses.

Burger King!

Try Baltic, which is by Southwark tube station. Good Eastern European/ Scandinavian/ Russian food.

although wouldn't recommend if you are vegetarian!

Bob's kekab house in Streatham...excellent world renowned cuisine

you could go to bieradrome in clapham really nice good food there

or to italian place on the corner across from camber well green nice..

There's a place called the Lobster Pot which I have my eye on!
