Go to your local social security office. This is where you go if you lost your card to get a new one. If you say lost your card, go get one to replace it and you have to fill out the forms to get the card, hence, new address is put into system!

If you do not receive any Social Security or Supplemental Security Income payments, Social Security Administration does not maintain address information. The address information for the Annual Benefit Estimates is provided by the Internal Revenue Service. That is probably why you were told that SSA did not have the information.

the current address on your social security card is wherever your parents lived when you were born...you get it at birth. When you retire and start to receive benefits you will give them your current address and your check will be sent there....should you ever lose your card just apply for a lost/stolen card and include your current address one will be sent to you

their system seems to be down right now...try checking back with them later
