my 11yrs old son woke up with his chin bruised. no pain or numbness. could this be frost bite?

he was out snowmoble riding two days ago. he went to bed with no discoloring and just woke up with it.

    with frostbite being a possibility you need to take him to the er immediately maybe they can save the skin tissue or help reduce any scarring. dont wait any longer.

    It probably is. It probably was frozen (beyond feeling)and not frost bitten (he would have felt it thaw out) and was white that night, you might not have noticed . The surrounding tissue has died and in now turning dark. Not sure if the skin will fall away and heal underneath, check with your doctor for more information.
