Macrobiotic diet resource.....?

I'm interested in learning more about the macrobiotic diet and the principles behind it and proper food combining. I need a resource (book or website) that could help me understand it, something that details the plan that is easy to understand. If you could recommend something, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks :)

Most Naturopathic Doctor's Association views the following text as the pinnacle authority, if not for the load of recipes, then for the clarity.

"Healing With Whole Foods." Paul Pitchford.

If you're into something much more complex:

"Chinese Medicine. The Web That Has No Weaver." Ted Kaptchuk

If you buy the first book, you'll use it as a resource for thirty years, and you'll slowly begin to positively change the lives of all the people around you by curing all their cancers and depression. I've seen the Pitchford book turn people's lives forever. Everyone is affected.

I found the "Hip Chick's Guide" very interesting.

Although I really don't buy that meditating over my food to determine it's yin or yang benefits sound nutrition.
