i use registry mechanic. it will scan but you'll have to get it registered to fully fix things. regcure is a paid program and is supposed to be a really good. email me and I'll help you out with the registration for registry mechanic. it does the job. link below to download..

if a program is free, then it isn't a through one and not very good. this is why it will be free.!!

OK i went and downloaded cccleaner just for comparison. and wouldn't you know it, when i ran it sure it cleaned this and that but when i was done i went and ran registry mechanic. and it found12 errors. the thing is i ran registry mechanic before ccleaner to see what would be found, and it had 3 errors found before running ccleaner. anyone running ccleaner might want to get another cleaner. from the results i just got, it is leaving unclean frags which is not good.

If there is, I don't know of it.

I do know about all the trials you can check out. Most have limits on what they can and can't do. I can also tell you, messing around in the registry without knowing what you are doing is asking for trouble. Before you do anything in there, make sure you have it backed up so that you can restore it if something goes wrong.

I've had success with TweakNow RegCleaner. The interface is very easy to use. Just a few clicks and you'll clean up registry entries that don't do anything anymore.
