my friend may have an eating disorder?

My friend has always said me and some other friends are so skinny and we should be models or w/e.....and then she always mentions how fat she is...(she has self-esteem problems) Up until now we've kinda just ignored her and changed the subject, but now at lunch she's only been eating chips and a drink and maybe a reese cup...what can we do?

You need to talk to your friend. First off, tell her that you care about her and you are trying to help her, not hurt her. Tell her that you've noticed that she does not seem to be eating that much and you are worried that she might become sick. Warn her that if she continues down this path, she could end up in serious trouble. Offer to help her and giver her advice to get her out of this habit. Alternatively, if you don't want to confront her, tell her that some other people have said things to you about how little she eats (even if that's not totally true) and you are starting to get concerned. Be careful about lying though, there's a fine line between a little white lie and a total fib. Good luck!

Talk to your friend let her know that your there for her because that makes a huge difference and let her know that eating habits are wrong! You should also consult a physiologist or some other expert because self-esteem issues can go deep

    Good luck
