I would like to know if all or any Nascar tracks have handicap facilities other than parking, such as getting?

up in the stands such as elevators. I went to the Poconos and really had a hard time getting into the stands. I would think they would have ramps, elevators or something to help the handicaps. The parking at Poconos was excellent. Thanks, its almost race time

At Michigan they have ramps and usually people in wheelchairs sit in the first row. They also have paved handicap parking and wheelchair accessible golf carts that will transport you to the front gates or to the infield.

They are pretty good in my opinion in accommodating fans with disabilities. They have always treated me well.

I know for a fact that California Speedway has three elevators for handicapped people. They also have specific landings where wheelchairs are allowed to be kept for the view over the track.

Kansas speedway has handicap parking, sidewalks to the stands, elevators to all levels and special seating for wheel chairs.

I've been to Martinsville, and they have ramps and elevators, and special seating for handicapped people. There are areas where you park your chair and watch, and there are seats close by for your race buddies. My dad was on crutches the first time we went, and they went out of their way to help him out.

Most tracks will help you, like Kentucky has a place just for wheel

chairs. All tracks has a 800 phone number why don't you give

them a call and ask?? I think their is a law on handicap facialities.

Good Luck and enjoy the races.

By law all tracks are to be in compliance with the A.D.A and they are very strick on the laws for the A.D.A and I know for a fact that tracks are always doing modification to accommodate the individuals with disabilities. When the A.D.A receives a complaint they are on top of it they go afar as coming out with their measuring tape. So if you do have concerns about the facilities you can contact the ADA and they will take care of.
