Is there a charge limit on an iPod Nano?

Well, kind of, what will happen is the more times that you charge you nano, the less battery each time you will receive, this isnt noticeable at first, but once you have had the ipod for a good 5 months or so you will definitely notice. I have a first Generation ipod, and i am honestly getting 4 hours/charge, compared to the 12 hours i got when i first got it 7 months ago.

Remember, no batteries can last forever, that would be totally sweet, but they will die, eventually. again, wait another 5 months or so and you shall see the change in battery life. this is not because of apple, it just happens to any rechargeable battery, yes, ANY RECHARGEABLE BATTERY will do the same thing.

All rechargeable batteries have a finite lifespan. Lithium ion (Li-Ion) batteries do seem to have less of a charge - discharge cycle capacity. However, if you discharge to 50% and then recharge a Li-Ion battery it is considered only 1/2 of a charge - discharge cycle. So in theory if you did this every time you could actually charge it 1000 times. Li-Ion batteries also have a TIME lifespan. It appears that around 2 -3 years after manufacture the battery gives out no matter how well you have treated it.

no, there isnt any charge limit. i have an ipod nano. u can charge it any numbr of times, i assure u that.
