ever had any UFO encounters?

I believe that the main cause, for sightings of unidentified flying objects, lies in the inability of the observer to identify a flying object, rather than in the object itself.

I'm not sure. I've asked a few questions on Yahoo Answers about this, but it's hard to get serious answers.

I had what might have been a vivid dream when I was three or four years old. Looking back many years later, it seems hard to picture that I would have come up with some of those details at that age. I remember being carried out of the room by someone and a kind of medical exam followed. Where? I don't know.

Strange as that is, I came across someone while in the Air Force who had almost an identical experience. After going over it at length, we decided that there ARE, in fact, logical possibilities that have a much greater chance of being correct than "abduction." Children are exposed to medical procedures when they are babies. There is also sleep seisures that cause dreams than even an adult would swear are real.

I honestly don't believe in UFO's but I haven't seen anything strange in person you know on the internet there is a lot of videos but its hard to know what to believe

There are definitely strange things hovering out there. I saw one fly over the trees while I was camping in the Catskills.

Am.Indians, some, think they are energy beings, that when seen, appear like what our minds make of them. Ancient people saw them as spirits, while we, in our technological revolution, conceive of them as mechanical oddities.

Yeah....I've seen some odd things. I was with a bunch of friends in College and we all saw what looked like an airliner about to crash right on top of us (to the point where we all ducked), but it disappeared just before it got to us. We never checked it out though. yeah....I cool stuff, but who knows if they really exist. Why not.

i had a ufo sighting. i was going to miami,sitting in the back just chillin, but then a flying objet stoped in-midair, three lights,red,blue,and yellow. it was very weird. i don't tell anyone because no one belives me.

I would love to turn the hands of time back and avoid seeing what I saw, then I could relax with the notion that maybe UFOs exist or maybe they don't. I can't do that now. In 1997, I was outside my single story condo having a cigarette one evening around 11pm. It was a clear sky that night and I noticed the stars were shining bright. As I looked up,I turned and saw a HUGE aircraft moving across the sky at a very low speed ( maybe 25 mph) and a very low altitude ( less than 200 ft). It was diamond shaped , with a dull metal looking structure and dim green lights on the underside. It did not make any sound at all. I froze. My mind just could not grasp what my eyes were seeing. I watched as it slowly moved overhead and then off to the southwest where I lost sight of it over the trees. What was that??? I have no clue, but I am certain we ( the human race) do not have anything that huge( big as a city block), that can move in the air that slow, that low and make no noise at all. I would not have even known it was there if I had not already been looking up at the stars! I did not call 911, afraid to be thought of as a nut case, and I was sure someone else would see it and it would make the news... Not a word. I live near Orlando, not in some remote rural area. It crossed a major highway near my condo. I can only assume that anyone else that saw it kept quiet just as I did and for the same reason I did. I'm not nuts... I saw this thing up close... not some strange light in the distant sky... it went right over me. I wish I hadn't seen it, but I did.
