What is Levator(sp?) syndrome and is it link to Fibromyalgia?

    I do not know of any link between the two syndromes.

    They are similar in that the cause is unknown for both of them and often they do not get diagnose correctly, but that is about where the similarities end. Levator is very specific about the location of the pain, that being in the rectal area. With Fibromyalgia Syndrome the pain can be and usually is all over the place. Levator is basically a pain syndrome and Fibromyalgia manifests itself in a wide range of symptoms that involve almost every system in the body.

    BTW you spelled Levator correctly
