technical medical question about estradiol?

does anyone know what estradiol, 17 beta of <10 means? it excluded me from a study about hormones in women. please explain to me why this is irregular and what it means in fairly simple terms.

    Estradiol is the primary estrogen in the human body. Your level was found to be less than 10 nanograms per milliliter. All it means is that your estrogen level was not high enough for inclusion in the study. If you think it might be reason for concern, you may want to talk to your doctor about taking hormone pills. You may want to mention it next time you have a checkup, but I doubt it's any reason for concern.

    Edit: 17 beta is part of the name of the chemical and has nothing else to do with the test.
