help!?! boyfriend of almost a year moving!!?
OK so my boyfriend of nearly a year is moving to Washington State... that is half way across the country from me. We have lived about 45 minutes from each other since we were 7-8, (14-15 now)
We were best friends as kids (still are) and have stayed close since. Last spring he asked me out, I said yes, and we have been really happy together ever since.
Yes, it is pretty hard not seeing him except on weekends and rarely a weeknight, when he comes to see a basketball game or the like. We have done ok with the short/long distance so far, but this is going to be so much farther...I don't know if I want to stay with him after he moves. We won't be able to see each other ever, and only talk over msn and the phone.
I have interests in some guys in my own school already, and some days it just seems better to go for one of them.
I need advice on whether to try and stay by him, or if I should break it off before the move.
Please help me. It's a huge choice for me. I need help.

hmm being that your only 14 and 15 and i know you will hear this so many times, but you guys have your whole lives ahead of you.. you will meet new people in high school and then in college.. you guys can still keep in touch in many ways..phone, e-mail.. hell myspace each other... but when high school rolls around you'll meet new people and you guys may decide that you want to explor the opportunities with other people.. besides everything happens for a reason.. if you guys are meant to be together then you guys will be together.. time apart is a true test on a relationship.. but really at 14 and 15 try not to worry about it to hard!

If both of you are meant for each other, then it's just a matter of time, the love & the bond between two of you have been sharing will eventually seal your fates.
What I'm saying is that, if two of you are meant to be together, then there won't be anything that is going to stand in your way.

Not to be messed up, but you know what's going to happen. Yet it's sad that you say that you have options already. Anyways, you both have a long life ahead of you. Oh, well...Good Luck!
