Do u think that Big brother was a publicity stunt for Shilpa shetty?

I think it saved the Big Brother show from being terminally boring, but I don't think it was FOR Shilpa Shetty.

Shilpa won, but there were a number of factors in that; she carried herself very well through the show, she's also (Or seem to me anyway) to be a relatively interesting person, she slim and attractive and she got the sympathy vote from the public.

She did very well out of it all.

And Jade Goody was very wrong; but more because she acted like an idiot than being racist. It was like watching a girls school yard where they gang up and pick on anything that's not core to the group - skin colour was in there, but it was more about class, attitude and style.

To answer your question, the ironic thing is due to Jade and co`s bullying and possibly racism, Shilpa has been thrust into the limelight and is more well known and popular here than she has ever been. So I guess it was made into a publicity stunt for Shilpa as the show went on.

Urm, a conspiracy theory eh? It's more than likely that Jade was told to go in the house and stir up trouble because that's what gets in viewers, nobody wants watch the housemates getting on with each other 24-7 because that wouldn't pull in the viewers. It is possible the producers told Jade to go in there and cause aggro but and then it all got out of hand. Also Shilpa may have been told to brace herself for Jade's temper but not to worry because it was going to happen as part of the game. But on the other hand Jade would have mentioned this in her grovelling interviews afterwards.

It's good for asians very very baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad for others. Sikpa wil probably get nominated every week but indians/ maybe some other asians will never let her go because obviously she's asian. If someone hurts shilpa or becomes her enemy or smtn like tht all the asians will take them out as soon as they're nominated. Kinda sad they coudnt have brought a bigger bollywood star tho. So far she seems pretty dumb wearing a sari in England. Sad Person 0.o...

yes shilpa is lovin all this publicity i mean she's rollin in it.I h8 Jade Baddy and always have but she is not racist she is just big-headed stupid and mean shilpa knows it.When she first came out and didn't she all the deals she was gettin offered she was kool wif it and forgave jade but now sdhe's gettin deals shes sayin she h8s her and that she thinks it was racist.It is all for the money

It didn't start out that way. But you know ... good has to triumph over evil and all that. Just like a storybook adventure.

it was not that way at the start...she was bullied by those mindless beings and she became popular as a result of that...good for her...shows all the bullies and racists out there

it certainly was just look at the outcome it seems that the three stooges are now the victims of the bullying media

I don't think it started off as that but they certainly jumped on the band wagon
