Was Russia's Putin wrong about the United States seeking world domination?

No, he is right, with the current administration it is a true intention, this is just some of the collateral damage that George Bush has caused by his war with Iraq and soon to be war with Iran. These are dangerous times, Russia still has enough capability to wipe out the U.S and if they side with Iran they may do it. This is Putins way of shooting a shot across the bow of ship America and just maybe George Bush had better listen.

In his speech he implies Russia could desire to be between the international's "masters", and we've seen how Russia is prepared to cut back off gas factors to its former Republics to aim to effect political substitute in those international places (Georgia, Uzbekistan, etc). as much as now as I cam in touch, Putin has no credibility to be pointing ANY palms at different international places over "human rights violations" or "international domination".

Putin is right. Since the collapse of the Soviet Union, the United States has basically had the run of the playground for the past 15 years.

I miss the days of the Soviet Union. It gave the United States something to focus on. It was a stalemate of worthy enemies, which neither side had a prayer of annihilating successfully and coming out on top as the successor. In other words, it kept the balance of power level for the entire world, considering neither the United States or Soviet Union had the upper hand.

Will China be the United States' new arch-rival? It is, perhaps, the only nation currently capable of acting as such.

His laughable brand of democracy is concerned with rebuilding a quasi-Soviet state based on domination of oil & gas and other natural resources. Not to mention the gentle way they've dealt with Chechnya and other former-block states.

We are a benevolent master who only exploits the poor ,the working class and the resources to maximize the potential of those resources for the greatest good . The rich have nothing to fear from the United States .

When we come we bring our education system and capitalism and those people who wish to participate will get educated and join the master race . Those who do not will toil hard their entire life for a small share of the resources ,enough to return to work the next day to provide for the masters who control the world .

The USA is not imperialistic. However, Putin is so desperate that he is succeeding in convincing me that he is probably the anti-Christ or at least Russia itself.

we already have world domination. nobody seems to notice, but it's true. just look- who does everyone turn to when they have a problem? just like Darfur. the world keeps whining and complaining, but do they do anything? no, they make commercials urging us to make Bush do something.
