My boyfriend just broke up with me
We had been going out for almost a year, and we're crazy for each other. Our friends always joke that we'll end up married some day.
It was an off-on type of thing, but mostly on. We split up for a while after his mom died and was going through some stuff. He's really insecure now, and I think that that could be part of it.
But anyway, what happned is that we just got back together on Friday. We talk on MSN a lot, and I usually have my display name as "Katie<3Grant" I didn't have it that way, since I had just got on and hadn't even thought about changing it yet. He took it as that I didn't care about him, and didn't want anybody to know that we were back together. He said, "If I'm not important enough to you that you don't want your friends to know we are together, than I don't think that we should be."
I think he over-reacted... do you? I mean, is it really that big of a deal that I hadn't put it in there?

He probably did over react but besides that. You need to talk about the relationship with him. See if he wants to continue with it. If not move on. I'm a firm believer if something was meant to be it will be.

No, it's NOT a big deal. He's insecure. Find yourself a guy who doesn't freak out on the small stuff. "On and off" is a BAD sign!
