does anyone have a recipe for peanut butter squares.. they used to make them at schools when i was a kid?

they were squares.. didn't have chocolate or anything like that.. just seemed that all they had were peanut butter...

    PEANUT BUTTER SQUARES

    1/2 c. granulated sugar

    1/2 c. packed brown sugar

    1/2 c. butter, softened

    1/3 c. chunky or reg. peanut butter

    1 egg

    1 c. all-purpose flour

    1 c. reg. oats

    1/2 tsp. salt

    1/2 tsp. baking soda

    Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix sugar, butter, peanut butter and egg. Stir in flour, oats, baking soda and salt. Spread in greased rectangular pan about 13x9x2 inches deep. Bake until golden brown, 17 to 22 minutes. Let cool.

    FROSTING FOR PEANUT BUTTER SQUARES:

    1 1/2 c. powdered sugar

    1/4 c. peanut butter

    3 tbsp. cocoa

    3 to 6 tbsp. milk

    Mix powdered sugar, peanut butter, cocoa and 2 tablespoons milk and stir. Add in more milk until you have a frosting consistency. Then spread over squares and cut into squares.
