Yeah, finger sandwiches, small dessert squares, NO WINGS, large chunks of fruit with toothpicks in each one (for easy picking up and noshing), cubes of cheese, cold cuts rolled into well, rolls (and toothpicked to stay put, or chunks of something like Kielbassa sausage. Ooh franks in a blanket are good. Heat them in the oven as per package instructions, and then let them mostly cool before serving (you could warm them like an hour or 30 minutes before the party starts. Pickles and olives are good, yep. But no pits in the olives. Cheers!

    I love to entertain!

This is easy and reasonable too! At your local Target Super Store or Cub Food there are "deli sammys" that are already prepared on a wrap (not bread), in four different flavors, about 52 pieces per box (So you should get 1 or 2 for about $12 each).

Pickles and olives will go well with this.

    Also, cheese and crackers.

Get a ready made veggie dip for baby carrots, peeled and chipped cucumbers, cauliflower and raddishes.

Chips and Pretzels are always good, but Salsa and Tortilla chips are way better (and salsa is fat free!)... There are so many different salsas you could get a few to add variety (pineapple salsa and mango salsa for example).

Now dessert... A Cake is a must!! It's a shower after all! Or, you could be different and do a "cup cake bar" where you have chocolate, vanilla, etc. cupcakes, and your guest get to decorate the cupcakes with different assorted icing, and candy of their choosing.

Get some fresh fruit, and chop them up in a bowl to have as a healthier alternative to the cup cakes.

Have fun and good luck!! Here is a link for you by Kraft- they have some simple, great ideas!

Mini quiche are premade and can be popped into your oven for a warm finger food.

Take pepperoni cubes, cheese cubes, and green olives. Place the three items on a toothpick for an italian treat.

Cut up fruit and place on skewers. Poke the skewers into a pineapple for a decorative display. You could serve this with yogurt dip too.

    Shrimp and cocktail sauce.

Cheese and crackers is always easy too.

if it is low key and in your home they can be considered you might also want to do sandwiches without crust cut into quarters and cupcakes and non greasy chips like pretzels
