If a Professional Boxing Trainer who has training experience in Boxing for over 40 years wants to teach people how to box, how much should this trainer charge each individual a day?

I trained in a gym that produced professional fighters when I was younger. Granted, this was something like 20 years ago. But the gym charged monthly fees of $20 and it was open to people age 10 and up. They had a larger amateur team and maybe 3-5 professionals at a time. The amateurs and pros trained together and did similar routines inside of the gym.

There was no hourly fee or anything like that.

A lot of trainers that I know either charge by the hour, by a set amount of a certain time period, or by a percentage of the purse that the fighter wins...

It all depends on what the fighter is doing... If it is an amatuer, I am sure that the trainer will give a pretty resonable price, but someone that is fighting professional, and is working their way up in ranking, it would get pretty expensive.

My husband trains fighters and it can be an hourly rate ($30-45 hr) for personal one on one training or a gym rate--paying monthly gym fees. However, you must supply your own stuff (towels, shoes, clothes) but the gloves will be provided.

I wish I would stuck to boxing like my dad wanted me too. I don't know but whatever the cost its a great sport.
