Record Videogames?

I'm trying to record a , like a period of time of me playing a videogame. Is there any programmes out there that will enable me to record videogames?

    I've done it before using a set-top dvd recorder. I simply hooked the ps2 a/v cable to the inputs and hooked my tv into the outputs. pressed record and watched my self play while it was recording.

    You may be able to do it also if you have a tv tuner card in you pc. and if you have Windows Media Edition XP it will allow you to record it to your hdd...
