does sensor bar position on wii affect gameplay??

Question

i had it on the bottom and everything was all good but then I moved it to the top and now It freezes on me every once in a while when i'm playing warioware (mostly on the "highfive nintendogs") do you think maybe the position has anything to do with this problem?? (and yes of course I changed the wii sensor bar position to "above the tv" on wii settings)

The wii bar works on a "field of view, or eye's view" concept.  If it isn't able to pick up on the motion provided by the wii controller you will experience problems with freezing and so forth.  If I am understanding you correctly, you said that you adjusted the settings on the wii to compensate for the problems you are now experiencing.... How high is the tv off the ground.  If you continue to experience the same problems, I would put it back.  If it is off center then re-center it. If the bar is too high it is only going to pick up some of the higher arching motion.  Position of the sensor bar is everything.
