Personally, I think they are a waste of money because as soon as you are out of school; you no longer wear the ring.

It depends how much you take pride in your school. Personally, I have a lot of pride for where I live and what school I go to. I bought a class ring and I wear it everyday. I know I will cherish it my whole life because I love my high school. If you don't feel as strongly, I wouldn't suggest the waste. If you feel you want one, but don't want to spend so much money, Jostens offers affordable ring packages.
