Greys Anatomy fans......?

Meredith is in the water, not wanting to die but looking like the cannot swim. She is treading water in rubber gloves, scrubs and tennis shoes. Eventually though she is under water like in the bathtub from the last episode.

The little girl watches as Meredith falls over board and then she gets picked up by a rescue guy who who takes her towards a rescue vehicle to be taken to a hospital.

At the hospital Geoge lies to Miranda's patient before her surgery. He tells the woman he found her son and he is fine. Miranda follws him out to the scrub room and asks him if he can be okay when his patient comes out of her operation looking for her son and he is not there. George is okay with that. Miranda tells him to find the boy.

Back on the boat Izzie is at a loss. Her patient has lost conciousness and she has to admit to his friends that she has no idea what to do. They are looking at her to get back in the game. All she can think of is to ask who has a cellphone and all of them hand her one.

In the pit Christina is sewing up everyone and wondering why Meredith has not come back. She wants her person there to tell her about the wedding.

In another part of the hospital Addison and Preston are talking about the pregnant woman and how they both have to be there to preform the surgery in case something goes wrong with the baby. Alex is there hearing all this.

Back on the dock an emt is walking by Derek with a gurney and the man Meredith worked on. Derek is told about the man's leg and that he is ready to go. Derek notices Meredith's badge on the man and wonders where she is. The EMT has no idea. Derek looks around for her but all he sees is that lost little girl.

In the hospital Richard is telling Alex that he is incharge of telling the people in the lobby what is what, that is his assignment. Alex has to figure out how.

Meanwhile George is asking Christina in the pit if she has seen the little boy. Christina is asking him if he has seen Meredith. They both can not find who they are looking for.

Back on the boat Izzie is in contact with Richard and Mark over the phone and they tell her that she had to drill holes in the man's skull to relieve the pressure on his brain. She asks his friend for a drill and they bring her a Black and Decker Cordless. She then proceeds to clean the man's skull.

In the OR Preston has begun working on the pregnant woman while Addison monitors the baby.

Miranda is finished with the other patient and George has still not found her son. Miranda tells him he better find him so that she does not have to tell that woman that the reason she is living for is not there. George has called the other hospitals and fears the worst.

Meanwhile Alex is counselled by Sydney who asks him what can she do for him. The people in the lobby want answers and he cannot give them any. Suddenly he remembers the camera from the triage practice and gets an idea.

On the dock, Derek has found the little girl and is asking her where is Meredith. He wants to know where she saw her last. He wants to know if she is okay. Eventually he hasks the million dollar question "Where did she see her last?" The little girl points out to the water.

On board the boat Izzie is ready to drill. One guy panics and she tells him this is not the time for that, either get it together or leave. Her first hole is grey matter, no blood. She moved to the frontal lobe where she find blood. They tell her to widen the hole. She does. They then tell her to drill other hole to the other side to drain more blood. She does. It is working.The man is getting better. His eyes are opening. She has to dress the holes but things are going fine.

In the hospital the pregnant woman is having problems or at least the baby is. They make an adjustment and the baby recovers.

Meanwhile Alex has returned with all the pictures he has taken and posted them on the board for people to look at. Sydney has the files on these people. People are still complaining their loved ones are missing. One man in particular is missing his pregnant wife.

At the docks the resue worker has the little girl and looks to be taking her to his helicopter, for sure this time. This is when Derek gets up on the catwalk from the water with a blue hypoxic Meredith in his arms and heads towards an ambulance where he starts CPR on Meredith.

At the Hospital Izzie has arrived with her patient and Richard greets her and she tells him all that is wrong with her patient. Richard tlls her she saved his life and is off of probation so scrub up and finish the job with Mark. She is happy.

Back in the OR, Alex snaps a picture of the pregnant woman and exits. Preston goes on about how head strong some of these interns can be about getting their way. Addison comments on how strong Preston's opinion seems to be on the subject.

Izzie is telling Christina in the pit about her patient but All Christina can think is where is Meredith.

In the stairwell, George is sitting think where else to look for the boy. Alex tells him he has an idea where the boy could be hiding.

Next thing you know they are in the Morge taking more photos. George is upset how cold Alex is about all these bodies. Alex is only concerned with helping people find their loved ones. George does not find the boy but he does find a pregnant woman. Alex snaps anothe photo.

Addison and Preston have finished with their surgery and Preston is in the Pit where Christina is frustrated stitching up all these wounds. She snips this patient's stitches and the man goes ow. She reminds him he is numbed. He says but it looked like it hurt. Christina take Preston aside. She think it is him. She lets him know it is Meredith. She says Meredith is the person she would tell if she had to drag a dead body. She is her person. Preston does not like being reckoned to a dead body.

At the Ambulance bay, Derek has arrived still doing CPR and Miranda sees it is Meredith and is trying to take Derek's place but all she can mange is to get him off the abulance with Meredith still doing compressions.

Alex has returned to the clinic with the new set of photos from the morgue and tells people that these patients are dead but they need to know who they are. People start crying as the see the people they are looking for on the polaroids. The man with the pregnant wife does not see his wife. Alex says we have two pregnant women. The man start to discribe her and Alex show him the picture of the woman from the OR but it is not her. The man ask "You said you had two women?" Alex shows him the picture from the morgue. It is her.

George sitting outside the OR's looks on the board and sees a John Doe fitting the boy's description in surgery. It is Callie's surgery. She has been working on him all along. George interrupts and asks her to look at the photo. She tells him she would recognize that boy's ears anywhere. George rejoices. He tells her he can't kiss her now but when she gets home... She stops him before he can finish. Outside the Or His Beeper goes off.

In surgery Izzie is about to use the high spped drill on her patient when her beeper goes off. She tells the nurse to ignore it. The nurse says You will want to take this.

In the lobby, the little girl is found by her mother and they hug.

Alex tells Addison that if she were lost he would find her. His beeper goes off.

In an exam room Derek is still trying to save Meredith But Bailey is trying to get him to step aside. Richard is there now and he tells Derek to let them handle this now. Derek can barely speak sensably now. Addison is there and can't believe it is Meredith. Derek is escorted out into the hallway where he sits. Preston arrives and asks Derek what can he do. Derek tells him to go in there so he does.

They all work feverishly trying to get Meredith's temperature back up as it is only 86 after all this work and she has no vital signs. She is onher fourth epinephren and no results.

Out in the Hallway Izzie, George, Alex and then Christina get mnear the doors to the hallway wondering is it Meredith and knowing at once it is.

In the hallway, Mark has sat down next to a distaught Derek and but his hand on Dereks arm as though to console him.

Christina is near shock as well as Izzie tells her it will be okay. George is in his how do you know mood, his people die mood.

Alex is pretty much the same frame of mind given his recent experiences. Izzie will hear non of this. She is defiant that Meredith will be okay. She believes that if she can eat a pound of butter and nobody knows about it itwill be okay. She believes that there is good in this world and Meredith is part of that and she will be okay. She believes that George made a huge mistake marrying Callie and she is his friend so she can say that but in the end she knows that George will be okay. And she knows that Meredith will be okay.

In the exam room though they are trying everything and time is running out and still no sign of life.

Suddenly the screen goes white and Meredith is Okay in her scrubs lying on the table with no one around it and no tube in her mouth and she sits up but she is not alone. To her left is the bomb squad guy who blew up in her face carrying off a live mortar shell. To her right is Denny in his hospital gown. She asks "Am I dead? I must be dead?"

I think Meredith will end up dying, but they will revive her and bring her back. Looks like a great episode! I was on the edge of my seat last week and practically yelling at that little girl to go get help!! Izzy and the guy with the car on him!! Wow, what a great storyline! As for the drill, oh, wow!! I'm thinking she's trying to relieve pressure on the brain or something. Either way, she is pretty brave to be doing anything she is doing with that guy! He has a lot of injuries! And I love Alex's connection to the pregnant woman. Very touching and he is playing this so well!! I can't wait!

I think Mer will die and be brought back. I think Izzie could get hurt trying to stay and save that guy but she'll save him. I think Der will be mad becuase in a sense he did propose to Mer when he said, "Do you want to get married." She quickly said no. That little blond girl probably isn't real. Addison and the chief have a strong connection now that they both got dumped by theirs spouses. Alex is becoming so caring he's bound to have something great coming his way. The Nazi could care less about her new competition and won't care.

Meridith is obviously going to live (GREY's anatomy). I think George will spend most of the time looking for that boy. I think that guy that Izzie is with will die. (He's trapped under a car and she's going to drill holes in his head. Who lives after that?!) And Alex will check up on that pregnant lady he saved and (possibly?) fall in love with her.

I know what you mean. I've been looking forward to this all week. I'm curious to find out what happens with Meredith. And on the previews when Izzy was all like, "I have to drill holes in you friends head" that made me cringe!! It's going to be great like usual though!

I hope that little girls will tell where Meredith is i hope she dont drown cause that little girl doesn't want to talk. I hope that crew people who izzie and the guys are waiting for come before she has to drill a hole in his head.

personally, i think the little girl is izzie's daughter. in the second season she said she got pregnant when she was 17 and gave the baby up for adoption.

All I know is that, that pregnant woman from last week was heard to look at...her face looks like it had already started to decay
