Looking for rock groups with a certain sound, any suggestions?

Recently I've been increasingly attracted to rock (hard rock, not pop rock) groups that incorporate a minor (what you might call eastern, perhaps) sound into their music.

Does anyone know of bands that use this sound that I might enjoy?

I'm open to recommendations.

    I'm not completely sure what you're talking about, but the song "City of Delusion" by Muse has a middle eastern feel to it.

    Muse is an excellent band, and i highly suggest them.

    eastern sound...hmmmm.

    sonic youth

    my bloody valentine

    early radiohead ('pablo honey' and 'the bends')
