The book of John is one of my favorites. Too me it is the most plain spoken of what Jesus did and said, and what we have to do in this life we have been given. Psalms is another favorite

I have to choose? Right now probably Romans, although I really think the Song of Soloman is awesome, love Jonah and even Job.
John, an Psalms... and Phillipians.
Okay, I admit it is easier for me to just say I love the whole thing.

The Gospel of John because it was written from the view of being a best friend to Jesus. It was more of an emotional account of the events rather than just a historical account, which makes it even more alive to me.

Jonah. Read the book, the whole thing. There's the redemption of the Ninevites, God's proclamation that he cares for all creation, and Jonah's racist attitude towards the reseemed Ninevites.
And it's short enough to read in one sitting!

I like creation, I keep it in my thoughts. I enjoy Psalms when I'm in various moods and I feel a connection to Paul when I read his writings.

Psalms is my favorite book because it show David going through pain and sorrow, but still having hope and faith in God to get him through. It inspires me to be hopeful through my times of sadness.

My fave is Ecclesiastes because it shows the folly of this smoke and mirrors way of life we lead. It's all a bunch of crap, says the preacher.
