I have a 1991 camary. Manual trany. Just changed the slave cylander, bled sys. Still cant get in gear..????

i own a repair shop,and I'm going to ask a question,did you gravity bleed it or pump bleed it ?,if you pump bleed it this wont work,you have to gravity bleed all of these systems like this, pump bleeding will damage the new cylinder,maybe even burn it out ,you have to open the bottom bleeder on the slave cylinder,just a little,and stand there and keep it full of fluid don't let it go dry,it takes a while to do this ,so don't get in a hurry,but if you already tried to pump bleed it ,you may have actually damaged it,good luck i hope this help,s.

The clutch plays a big part in the trany, try that, or sometimes in older cars the gears get stuck.

If the clucth pedal is still mushy with no resistance then maybe you have a leak in the lines and your losing pressure.

check push rod for slave cylinder.If you went hi-perf. you will need a longer one. 2 people one on pedal one under car with jack stands push pedal watch too see if moves.You must get all the air out.Try a mitey-vac pump its a one man bleeder deal &it works.GUARANTEED.
