If you battled against US military, which tactic will you use?
Especially when you don't have advanced equipment!

I would use propaganda in the US to create division. I would attempt to create an out-cry of racism so that the US was confused about who the real enemy was. I would put a strangle-hold on several US allies, by having infiltrated their countries with terrorism prior to taking on the US.
I would do exactly what radical Islam is doing now.

It would involve a mix of tactics using both conventinal and guerilla tactics. Firstly though Special Forces would be used to prepare for an attack. Disruption of supply lines and communication means would be vital. Special Forces ( Im using the SAS as Im British ) would, under the cover of darkness, plant small explosive charges in stratigic positions with the ability to be detonated by remote. They would also plant a larger explosive as a destraction for the later attack. The second stage is to prepare 3 separate battlegroups consisting of 850 soldiers each. I would also be using 4 Apache Gunships fully armed and 50 Challanger 2 MBT. The First battle Group would be moved via Warrior Infantry Fighting Veichles. When all was prepared the SAS would detonate the explosive at the same time in order to for the larger detonation to cause a distraction and also to mask the smaller explosions. The communications would now be down for a time and supply routes disrupted making re-inforcoments harder to get hold of.
As soon as this occurs the first of the 3 battle groups, covered by 2 Apache gunships and using the Warriors and 20 Challanger 2 MBTs would move in on the US base. The Apaches would take out any anti-aircraft guns and also fire on the Soldiers Barracks and other buildings causing chaos. This along with earlier explosions will disorientate the US soldiers and allow the British to take advantage. The tanks would now move in and fire on the US armour that may be in the base. Following the suppresion of the US armour the Warrior IFV would escort British Soldiers into the Base whilst firing on US soldiers. The Soldier would exit the Warrior and immedietly fire, keeping a constant wave of fire going at the US soldiers. Within 20 miutes the US would surrendor, as the element of suprise the huge rate of fire would cause large US casualties and cut there numbers dramaticly. From this point there would be 1hr 30 minutes until the US military realised what had happened and sent forces to reinforce the base. They would not know until the got satalite pictures the extent of the damage and the current situation. A large US force would be sent made up of Marines, and M1A1 and M1A2 tanks along with air support. Of course the US cannot just bomb the Base as they would not know how many have been taken Prisoner. Meanwhile the remaining British forces would enter the base and the engineers would begin buliding make shift defenses from US defenses. One of the battle groups would move out a few miles from base and set up for geurilla attacks to slow the US down. This gives more time to prepare and bring in more tropps and Tanks.
Thats how i would get to this stage.

If you want to attack the USA, you don't attack the military. You attack the weakest point, the dollar. If you come from a region of the world that controls the largest internationally traded commody, which is oil, all you need do is start trading oil in the international market for Euros instead of dollars. This will increase demand for Euros and decrease demand for dollars on the currency market. Since the USA is no longer on the gold standard, it is the currency market that sets the value of the dollar.
In 2000, Iraq started trading oil for Euros. Shortly after, Jordan, Iran, and Venezuela also started trading in Euros. The dollar has lost 60% of its value on the currency market since 2000 when the oil trading in Euros started.
The EU strongly wants oil traded in Euros. It has increased the value of the Euro equal to the loss of the dollar. Notice no countries using the Euro are allied with the USA in the Middle-East.
Long term attack on the USA would be to crash the dollar and kill the USA's ability to even have a military.

Just ask the Iraqi and Afghani insurgents. Their tactic of choice is guerilla warfare...
Same thing was used against us at Vietnam.
