English is my 2nd language. I don't quite understand when your ex wrote "please take care of yourself" means stop talking to each other? and what term will Americans use to express " stop talking to each other forever"? please help me, thank you very much!! :)

He cares for you but is not coming back. Its a loving way of saying get a life and enjoy it and he means it in a caring way. Unfortunately break ups are never easy.

I say "please shelter your self" whilst i comprehend the dating is over or if a chum comes over and is shifting away. If i become going to end chatting with somebody consistently, it would be a "f_ck off and die kinda element. desire that's effectual.
