i rep composers for film and tv. I think your question needs to be more specific. I am not sure what kind of music you are making and what kind of media you are aiming at..
The most important question would be... Are you planning to sell your music to cd buyers or to networks/companies to use your music?
For having a cd made and available on amazon, etc.., try oasis or cdbaby. This would be if you are just trying to sell yourself as an artist.
For composer websites... you can take a look at taxi.com , soundtrack.net , or filmmusic.net
For tv and films... directors, producers, or music supervisors will hire a composer they are familiar with, or they will find a composer through an agent or through submissions.
For much of tv, music librarys are used. If you want to get your music bought and used by shows/networks, you should try to get your pieces into music libraries. This is not always the easiest thing to do.
Otherwise, you just need to keep submitting your music to music supervisors, hoping they will use something.... or start building a resume by composing for low-budget film/tv... or find an agent to track projects for you and contact producers.
Regardless of which of these things you were refering to... You have to also realize that their are tons of composers out there, and many of them are talented and have solid credits. You either need to have a good resume or an exceptional reel. Either way, you also have to have some contacts/connections. (or you have to make them)
good luck.

I am currently about to launch a music library website which allows composers to showcase and sell their work to film/tv producers.
I haven't put the call out for composers yet (as the site is still under construction) but will be seeking original music for inclusion in the library in the near future...
Best of luck with your composing career!
