when I use dvddecryptor with anydvd, I cannot use dvdshrink to compress the file on some movies due2read error
I can use dvd decryptor with anydvd and sucessfully back up a movie file but when I try to use dvd shrink 3.2 to compress the file to use a single layer disc, I am unable to do so. It says I have errors in the file. This only happens on some dvds and did not happen until 2 weeks ago. Note: anydvd reads the disc and doesn't show any problems.

Instead of using DVD decrypter use DVD Fabdecrypter. The decryption algorithms are a little bit advanced, so it will give you a better chance of breaking down the movie. DVD Fab Platinum along with some others can do it all-in-one motion. Ripit4me is another great all-in-one program that will work for you as well. For that program however you must have Nero installed though.
